Please change entrance to elite missions

Unless you want us all to pay $50 for a new game that we can use bots to farm faction for us. Hope thats not what they were going for with the entrance to the elite missions

I'm split on this matter. While I think it should be accessible to more than just the greedy guild alliances who charge stupid amounts of factions just to have access to the mission area for one day. I don't think it should be made accessible to the point that anyone can just stroll in.

Good generalization.
Maybe you should know I've only donated 5k a day since I've been in the alliance...and we still have the town. Sure TC took it and did whatever they wanted to it. We opted not to follow the same path. When you own the town, you make the decisions, I don't see why it's elitist if I make a decision. We earned/grinded/farmed it whatever you call it but it's still ours legitimately. Maybe you should actually be in our alliance before stating all this BS.

I hope no one does that in our alliance.

Do you have access to our alliance/guild chat? Even if they do, it's highly discouraged, The only time we demand over a 5k minimum if we are trying to win back Cavalon, which has been once, Congrats to TC for putting together the faction.

I agree that elite missions should be made much more readily available to all players of all levels of dedication.

P.s.-Going to FoW and UW is one of the best things in Guild Wras, I think ther should be a way to let evryone (world) play her aty all times.(I feel bad for Japan, they never get favor)

Serious design flaw. The Last Pride and War Machine are guilds who I consider 'Elite' and they don't own towns. Mindless Faction farming doesn't deserve a reward.

Then why are you signing here? This petition addresses the few numbers that get access, not how they got it...

The way in which faction is 'earned' is part of the reason why people are unhappy about why they cannot enter Elite areas. If Anet changes the system so that people actually earn the right to Elite content then maybe /not signed.

They should make the Supply quests non-repeatable. That would get rid of the Faction Farming from that grind at least.

See how those mega-Alliances that can't Faction farm feel then!

Many alliances go around asking for people to donate their faction to their alliance or actually tries to buy faction from others.

BkBd does not promote more than an hour of farming. Most members try to donate 5k whenever they get on. Only when TC took Cavalon and we were in grasps reach of taking it back did we hardcore farm.

Then it would just encourage our whole alliance to Alliance Battle and Fort Aspenwood more...which is a bit less faction but it still hurts everyone.

How exactly would that hurt everyone? If the distribution of Faction is more evenly spread and other Alliances have a chance to gain control of the cities for access to the Elite Missions.

Sure, you can say that the elite parts of the game should be for the elite players, but really, I don't see what's so elite about playing so much that you get boatloads of Faction. It's not hard, it's time consuming. So, by ANet saying that the better people are the people who spend more time on GW:F, they are then contradicting their original philosophy that Guild Wars should be skill based, and not based on the hours you spend farming.

Kind of funny how things change in a year.

well actually going through the deep with a decent pug the other night (I was let in when tc had control) The drops are fantastic.. we opened 3 chests and all was gold- the chests drop zodiac stuff, straw effigy, ironwing bows, wayward wands and the mobs drop them pretty often too.. it's really an area for the guys to make up all they lost in donating faction- if they let everyone in the drops would be tweaked down.. I'm sure the guilds that are in control know this place is a goldmine.. but consider all they'd lost not cashing in that faction- I can see both sides.. far as a challenge it's pretty cool though (unique things in there- like one part where the mobs teleport you to them.. kinda like what an assassin does but the other way around- rits get the ashes ripped from them during this too) there's alot of other things I found really neat about the deep mission too- I was just worried about the slap in the face it would be to the grinders.. I felt this way after the first trader reset and total newbies were running around in fow the next day if you really want in- help tc get control back they seem to be a nice group.. noone had to pay anything they were just letting people in
